Welcome...the 2010 show held on Sunday 7th February was a great success...

I thank all who exhibited and attended, helping make our 9th show a landmark event which has established its place in the fly fishing calendar for many years to come.  The 2010 show had a new feel to it with many new attractions including fly tying demonstrations projected onto display screens, allowing you to see all those fly tying skills in more detail, with plenty of question and answer sessions with the flytyers.  Included in the attractions were additional presentational talks on a variety of subjects such as, small still water fishing, competition fishing by Nick Halstead, Salmon fishing holidays in Canada by Carl Hutchinson.

With the show venue having large grassed areas casting demonstrations were held by Carl Hutchinson which attracted very large crowds considering the rainy conditions.

Watch out for more attractions to be announced for next years 2011 show...

SAVE THE DATE...6th February 2011 will see our 10th event held within the North East of England and will once again be held at the Nissan Sports & Social Club, Washington Road, Sunderland. [inside the Nissan car plant itself].

The venue has over 8,000 sq ft on one level, [disabled access], with access to outside grassed area for fly casting, rod demonstration, etc, loads of free easy parking, great access off the A19, A1(M) both North & South [see "Visiting the Show" for directions], catering supplied by Nissan, Sunday venue and lots more...

On the day...this will be a unique occasion for Trout & Salmon anglers in the North East region and from further a field to have the opportunity to view, try, and buy, in one location a massive selection of rods, reels, fly lines, fly tying materials & equipment, flies, hooks, tippet materials, sports clothing, etc, in anticipation of the new 2011 season.  Also on the day there will be various casting, fly tying demonstrations along with the ever popular "Advice Squad" presentations on competition fishing, still water fishing, and much more.
